Any new developments in the Nordiques' return file?

Zone Nordiques is getting a fresh look!

Clickbait? Maybe... But there's a question mark in my title! So I'm not claiming anything.

After all, Zone Nordiques is much more than a simple site that fantasized about the Nordiques' return. Zone Nordiques is a community of hockey fans who refuse to switch sides. Why stay on X, get flooded with questionable videos and get harassed by web bullies?

For us, the fleur-de-lis is until death. A Habs fan? Never, absolutely never. Caufield can score 80 goals, Demidov can dish out 12 assists a game, Hutson (kid's pretty good) can break all the records... if they're wearing a Montreal Canadiens jersey, it's a lost cause. We want no part of it.

I like betting against the Canadiens. I like it even more when someone tells me it's stupid to bet against the Canadiens, that we only have one team and we should support it. It lets me judge that very person who switched sides...

In the world of sports and passion, there's nothing more immoral. :)

And for all the young people who never experienced the Canadiens-Nordiques rivalry and who embrace the CH, I'd really like to understand you. But it's not the same. You live in Quebec City, you're blue! Not blue, white and red! Your parents didn't raise you right.

You simply don't know what a real rivalry is.

Man, I miss it.

Alright! Enough talk about the Canadiens. Let's be honest though, they've got one hell of a good team.

Let's get back to our Nordiques.

The era when I'd get tips about a potential return is over. The question isn't whether it was true or false (clearly, it was false), but damn did we have fun. Unfortunately, Zone Nordiques' mission has eroded over the years.

The Nordiques' return has become a joke. It's understandable. The NHL pulled the wool over our eyes and the media (not all of them), in general, acted like real bullies in this file.

In any case, the site has been redesigned. Zone Nordiques has become the anteroom of hockey, a site where we talk mostly about the NHL and its activities, hoping that one day, maybe... Gary clears out and hockey takes its rightful place back in Canada.

If you feel like talking hockey, reading about hockey, openly betting against the Canadiens and continuing to hope...

It's still on Zone Nordiques that it happens.

Think about it...
